Make a Connection

John Muir wrote, “When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.” This is your group's chance to make a connection between two seemingly unrelated items.

For instance:

Make a connection between power and a book

• If the power goes out, you can't read a book at night.
• Knowledge (from a book) is power.
• It takes electrical power to print a book.

You have to wait in a line at the county fair to buy a caramel apple!

If you eat an apple you won't have to wait in line at the Dr's office.
