Deterring Unpaying Passengers

In Team Challenges I talk briefly about the problems our world faces and the need to tackle these problems with creativity. If not for a creative-thinking person, who will solve our landfill problems? Figure out how to eliminate dust collecting on refrigerator coils? Make an alarm clock that can move in reverse?

Today, I discovered that a different sort of problem has been confounding police in Indonesia. Passengers have been riding ON TOP of the trains. Without paying or permission. The police have finally come up with a clever solution. They are spraying these freeloading passengers with colored paint. When they disembark, the police can then identify them as the law-breakers.

There's some creative problem solving in action, folks!
